Once a week or so, I tweet short tips for suppliers, buyers, or vendors.
Here's a consolidated list of all the supplier tips I've tweeted so far (in reverse chronological order):
Regardless if you go #PunchOut or #eCatalog, make sure to invest in enriching your catalog content. Garbage in=less sales out.
Your catalog or #PunchOut is your one and only window for your #eProcurement customer into your offerings - MAKE IT KICKASS!
There's a difference between B2b eCommerce (what most people know of) and B2B #eProcurement (where the big money is)-do both.
You need a signed contract to start selling your offerings, but you can't stop selling yourself till the contract is signed.
Have a #cXML #PunchOut or #OCI #RoundTrip site? Get the list of #eProcurement systems you support: https://t.co/5N2OwP36Cx https://t.co/jRXGN6BCKx
If you have two different sites - one B2C and one B2B, it's 2017, time to do it right and get a single omni-channel solution.
Offer your customer discounts in exchange for ad space on their #eProcurement homepage and/or email blast to users/employees.
If you put the min amt of effort into your catalogs, you will get the min amt of business from them. https://t.co/WXDxYT4vuH
Trying to make inroads with a new prospect? Call and ask for their supplier enablement lead instead of their procurement dept.
Using accurate & detailed #UNSPSC codes for your catalog items is in YOUR best interest as well - invest in doing them right.
Proudly promote your #eProcurement capabilities on your website and on social media in an effort to be found by B2B prospects.
